AFI is a vibrant global network of policymakers that focuses on exchanging knowledge on successful evidence-based financial inclusion policy solutions. As such, AFI recognizes that financial inclusion is a broad, multi-dimensional issue, developing at a rapid pace and driven by a large variety of actors. Thus, effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among different actors is crucial in establishing strong regulatory, market, and end-user capacity as well as developing inclusive financial sectors globally.
AFI’s inclusive and collaborative philosophy guides us to pursue complementary relationships with relevant stakeholders. Therefore the organization actively engages a wide range of stakeholders in the financial inclusion sphere - ranging from high-level inter-governmental and standard-setting bodies to development banks, development agencies, research organizations, industry associations and the private sector - in dialogue and collaboration. Such engagements are designed to establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that result in substantial benefit for AFI members.
