Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority Bangladesh joined AFI as associate member in July 2018. It also participates in AFI’s Inclusive Green Finance Working Group.

Microcredit Regulatory Authority of Bangladesh is a principal member at AFI. It has made seven Maya Declaration targets in areas including consumer protection and national financial inclusion strategies. It is also active in two working groups: Financial Inclusion Strategy Peer Learning Group and Consumer Empowerment and Market Conduct Working Group.
