The Foromic is the principal venue for topics related to micro and small enterprise development and finance in Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2010, approximately 1,400 persons from more than 35 countries attended the XIII Foromic to exchange experience and knowledge on best practices and strategies to grow in the micro and small enterprise sector.
This year, the Foromic will focus on women entrepreneurs, their challenges, and exceptional economic gains that the region reaps from fostering growth in their businesses. In addition, the participants in the Foromic will consult on responsible microfinance, innovative technology for financial inclusion, rural finance, and value chains.
