Within the government efforts to promote social inclusion, the forum’s objective is to launch and debate the National Partnership for Financial Inclusion, aiming at promoting adequate financial inclusion in Brazil and at constructing a sustainable, efficient and inclusive financial system. The national partnership is in line with the G20 Principles for Innovative Financial Inclusion. The partnership’s scope is based on three pillars that are essential for promoting financial inclusion: (1) diagnosis of the financial inclusion status in Brazil and integration of actors, (2) regulatory framework, and (3) financial education and consumer protection.
