The 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) will be hosted virtually from AFI’s Head Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 8 September 2021, at 12:00 – 15:00 UTC.
Eligibility to Attend
Participation is limited to paid Principal and Associate Member institutions of AFI. Each delegation shall be led by the Head or Deputy Head of the Institution or other senior official nominated in writing to represent the institution. Members of AFI Board Committees, AFI Working Groups and Regional Experts Group on Financial Inclusion Policy are eligible to attend. Other observers may only attend the AGM at the discretion of the AFI Board of Directors
Voting
Members who are entitled to vote at this 6th AGM are paid-up Principal Members in accordance with the Article 16 of the AFI Articles of Association. The vote shall be based on a one-vote per country basis therefore where there is more than one Principal Member from a country, the respective Principal Members shall agree and nominate their representative to cast the vote as well as notify the Secretariat in advance of the AGM.
Interpretation
Spanish and French interpretations will be provided.
The Secretariat invites members to register to participate in the AGM by 3 September 2021, 10:00 AM UTC.
