The Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) is organizing a virtual Regional Training on Infrastructure Readiness for Open Finance – Unlocking the benefits for Inclusive Growth on Thursday 28 Oct 2021. The objective of this regional training is that participants will be able to identify the digital and institutional infrastructure that policymakers and regulators should consider setting up in their respective jurisdictions as an essential prerequisite for successful open finance ecosystems.

The training will have regulators and technology experts as speakers sharing experience and learning from developed and emerging markets. The training will be attended by senior technical officials who are currently working on policies/frameworks/guidelines from the Payments, financial inclusion and/or Innovation department of AFI member institutions, exclusively from the Eastern European and Central Asian (EECA) region.
