AFI Virtual Member Training on Inclusive Green Finance
Alliance of Financial Inclusion (AFI) will host a Virtual Member Training on Inclusive Green Finance (IGF). The training will be delivered through three, two-hour virtual sessions on 20, 22 and 23 July 2020.
By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to devise various IGF policies and implement IGF initiatives in their respective jurisdictions. With this training, participants will:
- Be familiar with various concepts related to IGF, including the 4Ps.
- Participate in peer sharing to learn from best practice examples of how IGF components have been integrated in financial inclusion strategies and other national level strategies.
- Know how to design a process for and to devise IGF policies in their jurisdictions.
- Be able to interpret IGF policies in the response and recovery after COVID-19
This virtual member training is opened to all AFI members with special focus on staff from institutions that have initiated or are currently considering working on IGF related policies or initiatives and having some basic knowledge of IGF.
