This four-day practical and interactive program has been developed exclusively to enable AFI members and guest delegations to exchange their knowledge on financial inclusion with a strong focus on agent banking, rural credit and financial education.
This program will examine the following crucial key learning points:
- The Brazilian financial sector reforms;
- The role and importance of agent banking in Brazil;
- The specific rules and regulations that can significantly impact the growth of agent banking;
- Supervising agent banking in Brazil: Tips and lessons learned;
- Challenges related to agent banking in Brazil;
- Rural credit regulation and supervision;
- SME finance; and
- The impact of financial education in enhancing financial inclusion in Brazil.

Representatives from AFI member institutions can apply for this program. This program is useful for both policymakers and regulators who are looking at access to rural credit, financial education, and especially for those interested in setting policies, regulating and/or supervising agent banking.
