Banco de Moçambique and AFI are organizing the 3rd global conference on Inclusive Green Finance on 3 December 2020.
The virtual global conference on Inclusive Green Finance (IGF) is a unique opportunity for AFI members to identify the next steps to be taken to ensure policy development on Inclusive Green Finance and drive in-country implementation in this policy area. This comes at a time when it is more urgent than ever to ensure that those at the base of the economic pyramid are not further excluded and that they are empowered to build their own resilience to the impacts of climate change through financial inclusion. The conference will also launch a new IGF framework and reflection paper on Inclusive Green Finance, developed by AFI in collaboration with SOAS University of London, that will further guidance on IGF policy development.
Should you have any questions regarding this webinar or how to participate, please contact IGFWG@afi-global.org.
We look forward to seeing you December.
AFI’s Inclusive Green Finance (IGF) workstream is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), based on a decision of the German Bundestag.
