The Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) is honored to invite you to participate in the joint convergence of the AFI Working Group (WG) Virtual Management Meeting on Tuesday, 8 September 2020.
The meeting will be held ahead of the AFI 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place on 9 September 2020. The objective of this joint working groups meeting are:
- Provide an overview of the performance of the working groups from the last convergence meeting held during the Global Policy Forum (GPF) in September 2019 in Kigali, Rwanda to August of 2020.
- Take stock of each of the working groups achievements and progress for 2020 including deliverables that have been achieved and the global work undertaken through the drafting of the two Policy Models on National Financial Inclusion Strategy & Consumer Protection for Digital Financial Services.
- Share and update of each working groups prospective plans for 2021 which will be led by each of the Chair or Co-Chair of the seven Working Groups.
- Discuss and approve any matter(s) that may need to be proposed to the AGM on the 9 September 2020.
