What is the Training About?

This JLP will focus on the content of a comprehensive financial inclusion strategy and the steps taken to develop and implement it. It will cover the following:

The JLP will focus on:

• The core components of a financial inclusion strategy
• Process undertaken and key lessons learned in crafting the national financial inclusion strategy
• Stakeholder consultation for strategy formulation
• Implementation issues, challenges and next steps
• Field visits to relevant agencies

Who Should Attend?

This training is recommended for member countries who are in the process of formulating their financial inclusion strategies or have initiated its implementation and are looking forward for inputs to assist them in making progress.

Participants who would best benefit from the JLP are those from the senior and middle management who are closely involved in the implementation of the financial inclusion initiatives of the Central Bank and in drafting strategy documents on financial inclusion.
