What is the Training About?
AFI in collaboration with Central Bank of Kenya and technical support from Bankable Frontier Associates will deliver the training, New Frontiers in Digital Financial Services (DFS).
This high level technical training has been developed for AFI member countries which have made substantial progress in DFS. Issues around AML/CFT, cyber security, KYC/eKYC, cross border transactions, trust fund interest income distribution methods, deposit insurance. interoperability, consumer protection will be the highlight of the training. It aims to provide in-depth knowledge and skills on policy making on these critical issues in DFS.
Who Should Attend?
The training is targeted for countries which have made substantial progress in DFS and are in the expansion phase so that the participants get the opportunity to implement the learnings from the training. The training will be beneficial for those who have been involved in DFS related work for at least 3 years and who is involved in the operational as well as policy issues related to DFS (for example, Head of National Payments, AML/CFT Manager/Banking Regulation-DFS).
