Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) Training: A Digitally Connected World to Advance Financial Inclusion
What are the objectives of the AFI PPD Training?
The growth of digital transactions continue to create huge opportunities and challenges. This training looks at the digital transformations that are taking place through the lens of a payment network — focused on the impact on access to financial services.
Innovation especially using advanced technology, is probably the first thing that comes to mind when we hear about the private sector. The training will explore digital innovations that impact on financial inclusion and the policy environment that supports those innovations.
As we look at the future of digital transactions, we also delve into discussions on the inclusion of small merchants in ensuring secure transactions for the end user.
Who should attend?
The training is open to AFI members who are attending the Digital Financial Services (DFS) Working Group Meeting, and Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Financing Working Group Meeting.
How to register?
Invitation for nominations have been emailed to AFI focal points of all AFI member institutions. Feel free to get in touch with us at Capacity.Building@afi-global.org if you have any questions.
