The Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) and Alliance of Financial Inclusion (AFI) are organizing a Virtual Joint Learning Program (JLP) on Inclusive Green Finance (IGF) implementation from 19 – 21 October 2020.
The objective of the JLP is to provide knowledge on how to contribute to developing robust IGF polices and initiatives within the institutional jurisdictions. Following the training held as a series of three sessions of three hours each, the participants will be introduced to IGF and AFI’s 4Ps Framework on IGF, as well as:
- Identify key considerations to designing IGF policies and initiatives in their jurisdictions
- Explore, best practice examples and challenges, through peer learning, about how IGF components have been integrated in financial inclusion strategies and other national level strategies
- Understand key intersections between inclusive green finance and gender inclusive finance
Based on peer learning, this virtual training is designed for staff of AFI member institutions who are currently considering or are already working on IGF related policies and initiative, and have a basic understanding of this policy area and the role of financial regulators in addressing inclusive green finance.
