Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and AFI are organizing a Virtual Member Training on Data and Monitoring and Evaluation for National Financial Inclusion Strategies (NFIS) on 2 – 5 November 2020.
The terminal objective of this virtual member training is that, by using AFI’s knowledge products, the participants will be able to understand the usage of data for each phase of NFIS development within the context of the broader monitoring and evaluation framework. To enable them to achieve this, the learners will be able to:
To ensure that all AFI member institutions are able to participate in a time zone that suits them, the event is held in two rounds; Group A and B for three sessions of three hours each.

The training is intended for senior officials from AFI member institutions who are engaged in designing and enforcing financial inclusion data frameworks, in data collection, analysis and monitoring and evaluation of the NFIS. The training will follow AFI’s model of peer learning and will be led by technical experts from the AFI network, BNM and AFI Management Unit.
