Assistant Manager, Human Resources (Local Hire)

Job Purpose 

The HR Assistant Manager is responsible for the implementation of succession and talent management in building a sustainable talent pipeline for business continuity. Facilitate the overall performance management process based on the dissemination of annual corporate objectives. Handled all aspects of learning & development to support the growth and development of all employees. 

The position takes an active role on the excellence executions for performance and competency management in building a strong and proficient workforce to support the changing and growing needs of the organization. 

Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities 

  • Initiate and support the implementation of succession and talent management program in building the internal bench of top talent. 
  • Collaborate with heads of department to identify employee readiness, engage, develop, monitor, deploy and retain identified talent. 

  • Plan and facilitate the annual performance management cycle in collaboration with HODs and all levels of employees. 

  • Provide management support and educate employees the performance management policy and process. Smart goals and objectives setting, development plan, performance assessments, etc. 

  • Review and analyse employee’s development need to identify skill and knowledge gaps. Provide recommendation for employee learning and development to improve employee’s skills and competencies across departments and locations. 

  • Review ad hoc training needs, source, evaluate and recommend learning programs/methods/trainer(s). Coordinate or facilitate learning courses٫ workshops, etc. Compile and review training feedback and perform analysis for further improvement. 

  • Apply statistics technique to perform relevant talent analytic, performance analytic, skills analytic, etc. Provide insightful analysis and prediction reporting for proactive or forward planning. 

  • Manage an effective induction program for new employees to enable a positive on-boarding experience. 

  • Collaborate and support adhoc / periodic information request for due diligent or audit purpose. 

  • Support and participates in the preparation of staff meetings, employee engagement initiatives or other HR assignments or projects. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent discipline. 
  • Six to eight years working experience in HR field.  

  • Minimum two to three years experiences as HR specialist or analyst in multinational organization or financial or service industry.  

  • Good knowledge in talent management, performance management and/or learning & development method.  

  • Passionate about helping people learn and grow.  

  • Good knowledge or familiar with of labor law and HR best practices.
