Central Bank of Jordan joins AFI Network

AFI has officially welcomed the Central Bank of Jordon (CBJ) into its network. The addition of CBJ further expands AFI’s extensive presence in MENA and is a sign of how financial inclusion issues are increasingly being given a high priority throughout the region.

The CBJ is no stranger to the AFI network, having already working with AFI members and partners on a variety of financial inclusion events and activities. Most recently on November 10 2015, Jordan was host to a conference organized in cooperation with the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where AFI’s Executive Director was the keynote speaker.
