The AFI network renewed its commitment to achieving worldwide financial inclusion during the closing ceremony of the 2023 AFI Global Policy Forum in Manila.

The Forum, cohosted with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), was attended by over 700 attendees from AFI member institutions, funding partners, private sector partners and knowledge partners.

“The 2023 Global Policy Forum has inspired us to work even harder to secure and expand financial inclusion,” said Dr Alfred Hannig, AFI Executive Director. “It has reaffirmed our collective dedication to creating opportunities for all, and to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and communities everywhere.”

“The insights we gained from the forum speakers and participants will help us sharpen our tools toward building a global financial ecosystem that is stable, sustainable, and inclusive” added Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor, Eli M. Remolona, Jr.
