Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and AFI will hold the “Payment Systems Policy and Oversight” capacity building program on 18-21 June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The four-day program will host 24 attendees from AFI member institutions. There are expected to be nearly 50 participants overall.
Key topics to be addressed include:
- Global developments in payment and settlement systems;
- Payment system risks: The international perspective; and
- Leveraging on mobile financial services (MFS) in promoting financial inclusion.
It will feature speakers from AFI member nations such as Russia, Tanzania and the Philippines. There will also be international speakers from the World Bank and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
