AFI and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) co-hosted the Financial Inclusion Data Working Group’s (FIDWG) seventh meeting on 4-5 March in Manila, Philippines.

FIDWG members focused discussion on mobile financial services (MFS) indicators and quality indicators, and those results will be presented to both the Mobile Financial Services Working Group (MFSWG) and the Consumer Empowerment and Market Conduct (CEMC) Working Group.

Working group members proposed to work more closely with the GPFI Data sub-group in regards to second-tier indicators. Additionally, SME indicators will be included in second-tier indicators.

Dialogue also centered on how FIDWG could better inform and involve the broader membership of its work and conclusions.
