The winners of the 2025 AFI Inclusive Fintech Showcase competition have been revealed at AFI’s annual Global Policy Forum in Swakopmund, Namibia.
Each year, the Showcase celebrates innovative firms that are boosting access to quality financial services in low-income communities in developing countries.
In Swakopmund, five finalists presented their solutions to a panel of judges, fintech experts, and AFI members, who then voted on the winners.
And the results are…
1st Place: Affinity Africa, Ghana

Affinity Africa is a digital banking platform dedicated to providing affordable and accessible financial services to every Ghanaian individuals and business. Affinity offers 24/7 full fledged banking services. With no monthly fees or transaction charges, Affinity is the most affordable financial services company in Ghana.
2nd Place: Solè, Fiji

Solé is an easy-to-use money managing software that empowers individuals, families and communities with a unique set of financial solutions. It’s dedicated to providing fast, safe and reliable financial tools to help its members budget, save, and spend wisely.
3rd Place: Shop Okoa – Kenya

ShopOkoa helps to unite small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Africa, creating a financial community that prioritizes growth, job creation, and shared prosperity. By providing accessible and affordable credit solutions, they aim to empower both merchants and consumers, fostering economic growth and financial inclusion across the continent.
All three winners will be invited to participate in AFI’s regional initiatives and Public-Private Dialogue discussions for one year, and receive one-year membership of the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), a global fintech innovation hub.
