This case study showcases a behavioral science–based pilot designed by CNBV Mexico with support from AFI’s In-Country Implementation (ICI) program to strengthen financial inclusion for young people in rural and suburban areas.
Through workshops, mindfulness practices, practical exercises, and digital nudges, the initiative improved financial habits, trust in the financial system, and awareness of gender norms. Findings reveal meaningful behavioral shifts and offer practical lessons for future youth-focused financial inclusion strategies.
