On 14 September 2020, AFI hosted the first Gender Inclusive Finance (GIF) COVID-19 webinar, with the goal to ensure that women do not get left behind in the post-pandemic recovery efforts. 

In response to the development of the AFI COVID-19 Policy Response, it was noted that there were opportunities for the membership to discuss specific gendered implications of the pandemic on women’s financial inclusion. Co-hosted by the Bank of Ghana, the webinar brought together 102 policymakers and regulators from 35 AFI member institutions. Read the reflections from the hour-long panel.
