In 2022, AFI member institutions reported developing and implementing 112 policy and regulatory changes to enhance financial inclusion in their respective jurisdictions.

The introduced reforms continue to strengthen the global financial system and foster a conducive regulatory environment to increase access to formal financial services for people in member countries across the AFI network.
