Chief Operating Officer
Ravi Vig is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. He is responsible for the effectiveness and the efficiency of operations management, i.e. the development, design, operation, and improvement of the various functions including corporate finance, budgeting and planning, human resources, information technology, contracting, GIZ liaison and grants administration. He is also a member of the AFI Executive Team and Management Unit, and the Secretary of the Budget & Finance Committee.
Ravi has more than 20 years of general management, operations management, and management consulting experience in Asia, Australia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with business transformation (getting the right things) and operational transformation (getting things right) programs delivered both for the private and public sector. With the primary objective of value creation and value delivery, Ravi has led various operational efficiency, knowledge management, and change management projects for financial services (investment banking, central banks, corporate treasury and cash management), healthcare and education industry.
Ravi is a firm believer in enhancing human and social capital, integrity, transparency, respect and humility, continuous-improvement mindset, teamwork and strategic alignment towards a value-enhancing and sustainable corporate culture.
Ravi earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (USA), and Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Santo Tomas (Philippines).
