AFI welcomes the South African Reserve Bank to the network

The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has become a member of AFI, the second institution in South Africa to join the network.

South Africa has played an important role in AFI’s history, most notably when the 2012 Global Policy Forum (GPF) was held in Cape Town, during which the Maya Declaration’s Cape Town Commitment was introduced.
