BOU-AFI Virtual Member Training on the Financial Inclusion of Forcibly Displaced Persons (FDPs)

Bank of Uganda (BOU) and AFI will host a Virtual Member Training on Financial Inclusion of Forcibly Displaced Persons (FDPs). 

The objective of this training is to enable participants to identify areas for incorporation of FDPs into mainstream national financial inclusion policies and regulations, towards advancing their sustainable and responsible financial inclusion. This training will be informed by guidance and learnings from the Roadmap to the Responsible and Sustainable Financial Inclusion of FDPs (2019), Guideline Note on Integrating FDPs Into National Financial Inclusion Strategies (2020), Special Report on Leveraging Digital ID and e-KYC for FDP Financial Inclusion (forthcoming) and Policy Framework on the Financial Inclusion of FDPs (forthcoming). These knowledge products reflect the issues faced and solutions developed by members on the nature of FDPs and financial inclusion.
