CBK-AFI Regional Training on Leveraging Responsible and Innovative Digital Credit to Advance Access to Finance for MSMEs, Youth and Women

The training agenda will review current and prospective financing options available to MSMEs in the region and the role of Digital Financial Services (DFS) in accelerating access to finance. The training will enable participants to identify appropriate digital credit and alternative finance options to advance financial inclusion of MSMEs and financially excluded individuals such as women and youth, in their respective jurisdictions. Participants will also be able to evaluate key legal, regulatory and infrastructure requirements to create an enabling environment for the development of innovative digital credit solutions. The training will be anchored on AFI Knowledge Products namely, Policy Framework for Responsible Digital Credit, Survey Report on Alternative Finance for MSMEs and Policy Catalogue: Women-led MSME Access to Financing.
