CSSF-AFI Regional Training on Inclusive FinTech and the 9th Meeting of the EGFIP under the ECAPI

AFI and the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier of Luxembourg (CSSF) are pleased to invite two representatives from your institution to the following events to be held in-person in the City of Luxembourg:

• 28-29 June 2022: CSSF-AFI Regional Training on Inclusive FinTech
• 30 June 2022: The 9th Meeting of the Experts Group on Financial Inclusion Policy (EGFIP) under the Eastern Europe & Central Asia Initiative (ECAPI) 

The Regional Training on Inclusive FinTech will enable participants to identify the requirements to develop policies that support robust FinTech ecosystems while mitigating cybersecurity and consumer protection risks. This will be done using AFI’s peer learning model, coupled with presentation by diverse stakeholders from Europe and a field visit. The training will be co-organized with CSSF, the prudential supervisory authority of Luxembourg responsible for the supervision of the financial sector including professionals, institutions, markets and products.

The 9th EGFIP meeting will focus on creating future-ready central banking systems by discussing DFS, CBDCs, cyber security, financial literacy, and broader innovative regulatory approaches. The participants will share progress updates on regional deliverables and conduct policy discussions on issues of relevance for the region to promote financial inclusion
