AFI Board of Directors’ member NBC Deputy Governor Chanthana passed away

It is with great sadness that we learn about the untimely loss of Deputy Governor Neav Chanthana of the National Bank of Cambodia who passed away on 1 August 2022. Deputy Governor Chanthana was a member of AFI’s Board of Directors. 

Deputy Governor Chanthana led a distinguished life and career with the National Bank of Cambodia, and contributed generously to the work and governance of AFI. AFI will remember her as a strong voice and champion in advancing the financial inclusion agenda, and in promoting gender diversity in the financial sector. 

AFI members and AFI Management Unit express heartfelt condolences to colleagues at the National Bank of Cambodia and the family of the late Deputy Governor.
