The Central Bank of Somalia joins AFI as a new member

 

AFI is delighted to welcome the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) as a new Associate Member. 

CBS was established in 1968 as Somalia’s financial regulatory institution. Led by Governor Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, CBS is currently undertaking critical reforms, transforming itself from being primarily a fiscal agent for the government into a modern, effective, and policy-oriented Central Bank.
