“The CNBV’s made commitments to measure the access and use of financial products and services that promote the financial inclusion agenda in Mexico. Our Alliance will continue to support the CNBV in implementing policies that contribute to more inclusive development and poverty alleviation. The collected information and the implementation of financial inclusion policies have been essential in promoting the Denarau Action Plan that seeks to reduce financial inclusion gender gap and promote gender inclusive finance. The data collected from the supply and demand surveys by CNBV greatly contributes to the understanding of the financial needs of women and how best to formulate regulations and policies with a gender lens”, said AFI Executive Director Dr. Alfred Hannig in his remarks at the presentation of CNBV’s 2021 NFIS results.
